Once you notice it, you wonโ€™t be able to unsee it

A seemingly ordinary group photo has left people deeply unsettled after a hidden face was spotted within it.

The image has been circulating online, leaving many feeling uneasy.

Those with a keen eye for spotting hidden details, especially fans of “can you spot it?” style images on Reddit, may now wish they hadnโ€™t honed that skill.

A user shared the photo in a thread, explaining that it had been sent to them by a friend.

The caption read: “A friend of mine sent me this picture from his group of friends in Chile.”

In the photo, six people are posing together during a hike, while other hikers can be seen in the background, surrounded by trees and lush greenery.

Hereโ€™s the eerie partโ€”thereโ€™s actually a seventh person in the photo. What makes it strange is that this extra person isnโ€™t immediately noticeable.

Take a moment to see if you can spot themโ€”but be warned, itโ€™s unsettling once you do.

If youโ€™ve been staring at it for a while and canโ€™t figure it out, let me offer a hint.

Focus on the bottom left corner of the photo.

Right between the two women on the left, youโ€™ll notice another face lurking there.

Apologies if this gave you a bit of a scare!

Once people spotted the mysterious face, their reactions were full of shock. One person said: “I’m not exaggerating when I say that when I finally saw it, I got goosebumps and felt real fear. Wtf. I believe in ghosts again now.”

Another added: “I was staring at the red thing in the bottom left corner, thinking someone was just cut out of the pic… then BOOM, I saw it. Runs to hide under the covers.”

However, one person offered a more logical explanation: “It’s just a person in the group with their face hidden in shadow by the others around them, and the intense blue filter makes it look creepy.”

“You can even see the top of the personโ€™s head and hair lit up by daylight.”

Another person shared their perspective: “It definitely gave me chills. Normally, I just laugh these things off or assume the photoโ€™s been altered in a way I canโ€™t quite figure out, but not this time.

“And once you see it, you can’t convince yourself it’s something else, like the way the guyโ€™s jacket is bunched up or a mix of that and part of the girl’s hair.

“Nothing else fits. Itโ€™s very clearly something or someone that doesn’t belong there.”
